Is a double-panel radiator better than a single?

Double panel radiators will kick out more heat than single panel radiators, but they are also more expensive. The best approach is to understand the BTU demand of your room and understand if it can be fulfilled by a double or single panel radiator. This way you will find the best solution for your room.

What is the best radiator style for heat?

All radiators are designed to transfer heat to your room, however different designs will do this in different ways. Aluminium radiators warm up the quickest, but they also the quickest to cool down. Cast Iron radiators are slower to heat up but they stay hot for longer. Double panel radiators have more surface area and will transfer more heat than a single panel radiator.
