Product information
Radiator valves help you match control, pipe layout and finish to the radiator you are fitting, so the job works properly and looks right once installed. This range covers manual and thermostatic options for wet central-heating systems, with straight, angled and corner body patterns in brass. For most buyers, the first decision is simple. Do you want direct hand adjustment at the radiator, or automatic room-by-room temperature control through a TRV?
Manual valves suit installations where you want straightforward user control and do not need the valve to respond automatically to room temperature changes. Thermostatic radiator valves adjust hot-water flow as the air around the head warms or cools, which can help keep a room more consistent without repeated manual changes. It is worth keeping one point clear. A TRV regulates the radiator in that room. It does not control the boiler, and turning it higher does not make the room heat up faster.
Body geometry matters just as much as control type. Straight valves are used where the pipework and radiator entry line up directly. Angled valves turn the water path through roughly 90 degrees, while corner valves also change direction but place the control head differently, often with a tidier projection into the room. The right choice depends on the pipe route, the radiator tapping position and how the head will sit once fitted, not on radiator style alone.
Within the collection you can also compare practical finish and handle details once the layout is confirmed. Options include anthracite, black, chrome and white, with round, square and crosshead styles across the wider range. That gives you scope to coordinate visible valves with the radiator or surrounding fittings without losing sight of the technical selection first. If you already know the body pattern you need, Angled Radiator Valves and Corner Radiator Valves can help you narrow the choice further.
Before ordering, check the connection details, radiator tail thread, flow direction and whether the product configuration matches the role you need on the radiator. Do not assume every valve is supplied as the same type of set or that every model is bidirectional. With TRVs, make sure the sensing head will have free air around it rather than being boxed in by curtains, furniture or a tight recess. Once the fit is right, you can choose the finish that completes the installation with confidence.
Product questions
Straight answers to the details customers check before ordering.
The connections for moderns radiators are all standardised, so any modern radiator valve will fit any modern radiator.
Radiator valves can be fitted on either side of the radiator, but it is recommended to fit it on the flow side as the hot water can be better regulated from this side.
