In order to provide you with the best service, we use a range of courier services to help us ensure that your delivery reaches you in the fastest time and in perfect condition.
Each product has its own delivery route and estimated time, together with an order cut off time. This is because different products are shipped using different services. In some cases your products may be coming direct from the manufacturer. Whilst we work our hardest to ensure that delivery estimations are followed through, these estimations are not a guarantee.
Each product's delivery details are made clear and explained on each product page, however we cannot guarantee that all the items you have ordered will arrive at the same time, or use the same service.
Unless otherwise specified:
- All delivery estimations are calculated on business day terms.
- If your order is placed after the cut-off time on a Friday, your order will be despatched on the following business day.
Every product listed with PlumbHQ includes free shipping. In some cases, you can upgrade to a premium delivery service at your expense.
Unless otherwise specified:
- Any orders over £50 will be automatically upgraded to a premium service.
- Any orders below £50 are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class.
All of our deliveries are a kerbside service, which means that the goods will be brought as close to the address as possible. Where required, you should arrange for help to unload the Goods during delivery, and/or for storing them inside the property after delivery. When receiving the delivery, we recommend performing a visual inspection, checking that all expected items are present and in good condition. The delivery should be received, inspected and signed-for by the contact nominated on the Order. Once the delivery is signed for, responsibility for those items passes to you.
Inspecting Delivered Items
We highly recommend performing a full inspection of your products as soon as you receive them to determine whether any items are damaged, incomplete or faulty. For the eventuality that there are any problems, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. This will ensure an easy returns process. Waiting longer than this may incur delays and extra charges.
If you follow this advice, we will arrange for incorrect or damaged items to be replaced free of charge. Certain damaged items, such as broken glass, may not be possible to collect. In these cases, you may be asked to dispose of these items separately.
Installing Delivered Items
We advise that you wait to book any installers or tradespeople only until you have received the entire order and that you are satisfied with the condition of the products. Any delivery times given are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss. Do not try and install any damaged or faulty items, and leave them in their original packaging where possible.
