42mm Gate Valve 1 Pack Details

This 42mm Gate Valve with compression ends provides reliable flow isolation in piping systems. Manufactured to BS 5154 standards with compression ends conforming to BS EN 1254-2, this valve features a non-rising stem design for space efficiency. The brass construction offers excellent durability with a working temperature range from -10°C to 170°C and a PN16 pressure rating.

Gate valves operate by raising or lowering an internal gate to control flow, providing minimal pressure loss when fully open. The gradual closing action helps prevent water hammer in the system. This Flowflex valve comes with an aluminium handwheel for secure operation and reliable sealing.

WRAS approved and compliant with BS EN 12288 and BS EN 1057, this valve is suitable for potable water systems. Ideal for domestic, commercial, industrial and irrigation applications where full-bore flow and effective isolation are required. Supplied as a single unit with 42mm compression connections for use with copper pipework.
