Product information
End feed fittings are a strong choice when you want a compact, permanent soldered joint on copper pipework and prefer full control over the jointing process. Rather than relying on a built-in seal or pre-loaded solder, these fittings are joined by preparing the pipe and fitting properly, then applying flux, heat and solder to complete the connection. That makes them a familiar option for both professional installers and capable homeowners working on suitable copper plumbing or heating jobs where hot works are appropriate.
One of the main reasons customers choose end feed is the fitting’s simple, compact form. With no extra sealing components inside, the finished joint is generally smaller than many alternative connection methods, which can help where pipe runs need to stay neat or space is limited. This collection covers the common fitting shapes used to build out a system properly, including couplings for straight runs, elbows in 45 and 90 degree patterns, tees for branches, reducers for changes in pipe size, stop ends and selected adaptors.
This range includes both equal and reducing options, so it is worth choosing by the job the fitting needs to do before anything else. Equal fittings keep the same pipe size through the joint, while reducing fittings let you step between sizes within the same run or branch. Across the collection you will find small-bore sizes such as 10mm, 12mm and 15mm, along with much larger end feed fittings for substantial pipework. On tees, reducers and adaptors, check every stated connection size rather than only the first dimension.
End feed fittings are often preferred where the installer wants control over how much solder is used and how the joint is made. That is the key difference from Solder Ring Fittings, which carry solder within the fitting itself. Neither method is automatically the better choice. If you want a permanent capillary joint and are happy carrying out hot works, end feed is often a practical route. If a heat-free or more easily dismantled connection would make more sense, Compression Fittings may be the better fit.
Product details in this collection also include recognised standards and approvals on supported items, including WRAS approval and BS EN references where listed, but those checks still need to match the individual fitting and the intended application. Before ordering, confirm the exact geometry, all connection sizes and the manufacturer’s suitability for your copper pipework. Once those three points line up, choosing the right end feed fitting becomes much more straightforward.
