End feed fittings are a strong choice when you want a compact, permanent soldered joint on copper pipework and prefer full control over the jointing process. Rather than relying on a built-in seal or pre-loaded solder, these fittings are joined by preparing the pipe and fitting properly, then applying flux, heat and solder to complete the connection. That makes them a familiar option for both professional installers and capable homeowners working on suitable copper plumbing or heating jobs where hot works are appropriate.

With no extra sealing components inside, the finished joint is generally smaller than many alternative connection methods, which can help where pipe runs need to stay neat or space is limited.
